Provision for 2014 – 15

For 2014-15 academic year we have invested this money as follows:

  • Contributed the employment four qualified Sports Coaches
  • Offered a range and number of sports clubs for pupils as extra-curricular activity
  • Organised morning break and lunchtime playground activities
  • Added additional sporting resources and equipment
  • Arranged a number of inter-school activities
  • Developed partnerships with Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion football clubs
  • Identified pupils forwarded for holiday sports leadership program


Impact for 2014 – 15

  • Improved quality of teaching in sports
  • Increased the number of pupils taking part in sports activity after school
  • Noticeable improvement in playground behaviour
  • Increased number of pupils taking part in competitive activity
  • Sporting topics built into the reward system
  • Sporting role models and raised international profile of sport
  • Engagement in charity – Sport Relief £264 raised
  • Developed community links to provide sporting opportunities outside of school
